SURI ALPACA FARM TOURS

Birrong Suri Alpacas, in association with Tourism Southern Highlands, offer personalised tours of our Southern Highlands alpaca farm.

When you take part in a farm tour you will:

• Learn all about suri alpacas
• Enjoy a walk around our farm in its beautiful secluded valley
• Get up close to plenty of suris—usually including cria (baby alpacas)

Whether you are thinking of owning your own suris, or are just looking for a unique experience in the Southern Highlands, we look forward to welcoming you to our farm.

This is a working farm, and so you will need to come dressed for the outdoors, including strong, enclosed shoes. Don’t forget to bring your camera—but please leave your dog at home! Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.

We are located on an unsealed private road, approximately 40 minutes drive from Bowral. Our road is not suitable for large coaches. Full directions are provided when you make your booking.

Tours last 1½ hours and are available any day of the week, strictly by appointment. If you would like to combine your farm tour with another local activity, we can arrange customised half-day or full-day itineraries, combining a choice of local wineries, gardens, art galleries or other rural pursuits, together with light refreshments or lunch at the Canyonleigh Country Store.
